Lockheed Martin wins $997 million U.S. defense contract: Pentagon

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Lockheed Martin Corp (LMT.N) has been awarded a $997 million U.S. defense contract for the upgrade of 84 F-16 aircraft to the V-configuration, the Pentagon said on Thursday.
